I’am a designer who explores three dimensional jewellery forms through working hands-on with flexible sheet materials such as paper and plastic. I’ve always gained satisfaction from the construction of unique sculptural structures, cutting and bending chosen medium by hand into exciting three-dimensional forms, with an organic quality finish to their appearance.

The creation of these unique jewellery pieces are created through exploring the paper ability and boundaries, cutting and folding into repeated segments and combining it with precious metal to create intricate sculpturally expressive pieces. The segments are designed to create unique rotational sculptural forms through repeatedly layering the component together continuously with the ability to change the structural form through decreasing and increasing the individual component size and angles.

The inspiration comes from creating a variety and elegance collection of sculptural jewellery pieces through the eyes of Ernst Haekel drawings of oceans nature, of how he captured and paid attention to the finest details of these impressive ocean nature forms on paper with accuracy and detail. The intention were to create a collection of jewellery pieces with the concept and mindset, creating something of beauty and phenomenal in great details however simplicity at its core to create these viable organic forms.
